Europe - Part 13 - July 19 - 27, 2015

July 19 - 27, 2015 - Wales, Great Britain.  Landed in Holyhead and stayed there the night as it was getting late.  Stayed at a B&B that was strange.  It was run by an elderly couple.  The man was 90 years old and got around great.  He had eyebrows that were the longest that I have ever seen.  It was a very small room on the second floor with a very narrow stairway that was not easy to get the luggage up.  But it was just overnight.  From there went on to castle where we would stay.  What a great place to stay.  Even had peacocks in the back.  Nice rooms and more modern than when the castle was originally built in 1277.

Snowdon National Park, Wales.

Snowdon National Park Railway that is a cog wheel railway that takes you to the top of the highest peak in Snowdon.

We had the front seat in the train.

Scenery on the way up.

This is the last good picture that I got. Further up the mountain was completely covered in fog.  Unable to see anything.

The entrance to the Castle that we stayed at in Ruthin, Wales.

After the castle.

In southern Wales at a small B&B near the coast.  The grounds of the B&B.

At the beach near the B&B.

Out for a ride to the tip of a peninsula.

It is cold and they are swimming!

Notice the small size of the roads and this is a 2 way road!

Another peninsula alon the Pembrokeshire coast.

Climbed out to the top of the hill in front of this picture.

Went for a walk to a scenic ledge that is not on the maps.
